Overview
Stack Electrical supplied a cutting-edge control and PLC system for two separate Scania service bays, each with its own extraction system. This setup allows for the safe use of electrical equipment in hazardous areas by ensuring the environment is gas-free before operations begin.
System Description
The system integrates extraction, roller door supply, and fire alarm systems through a PLC, which monitors and controls the area. We also provided a local control panel and an intrinsically safe airflow detection system designed to shut down electrical equipment if any extraction issues occur.
We supplied the diagrams for terminations and functional description for the operators.
Outcome
Our solution allows operators to drain vehicle tanks and perform maintenance safely, maintaining a secure environment that meets high safety standards.
